Search on PubMed
Search by Keywords and publication date
If you would like to search articles in the PubMed by free keywords with the range of date, you can access the PubMed Site by PubMed search mode. First click "PubMed Search" in source. Then, click the left tab (Detail). Input keywords (PubMed format) AND the range of date in the mode. Then, puress the search button.
Single Citation Match
PubMed provides Citation Matcher for Single Articles. "Single Citation Match" mode provides almost same function in iPapers. The single citation match mode is useful to search citation article and to find out the PMID of a PDF file (but unfortunatly file name of this is not PMID.pdf) you have. Input journal name, volume, and first page of the article. Then, puress the search button.
Smart Search
If you would like to search articles in the PubMed by free keywords with the range of date, you can access the PubMed Site by PubMed search mode. First click "PubMed Search" in source. Then, click the left tab (Detail). Input keywords (PubMed format) AND the range of date in the mode. Then, puress the search button.
Download PDF reprint, access Web Site
In PubMed Mode selected PubMed in Source View, you can search articles by keywords, references in PubMed. Searched result is in Search Results View. The search results are displayed in the lower table. iPapers showes the authors name, title, journal, year, volume, pages, and PMID. If you already have the PDF file of the article, iPapers automatically marks "M" in the most left column. You can read abstract by opening drawer (click "i" botton).
You can access the journal site or PubMed site by double click. If your institute or university can access the full text of the article, you can see the full text, and access PDF file.
If your institute or university has the permission to access the PDF file, you can download by clicking the link of downloading PDF file in iPapers web browser. iPapers automatically save the downloaded PDF as "PMID.pdf" into iPaper paper folder (this can be change in PreferencePanel). Then the file is automatically imported into iPapers.
